Simplifying Pepper's Global Digital Platform
The challenge
Pepper Money needed consolidate their Australian, UK and Irish websites into one solution, to align with a company rebrand. We were also tasked with providing a strategy and roadmap for the technical/digital implementation.
One of the main objectives for the new platform was to simplify the ongoing enhancement process. The solution also had to streamline the authoring process for content editors, and be integrated with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
Deliverables
Website / Episerver Expert Services / Dev-Ops
The Development
Episerver's multi-site functionality allowed us to build all three websites into the same CMS console. The broker portal was also able to be implemented in the same console. All websites use Episerver's Digital Experience Cloud (DXC), which enables reliable performance from anywhere in the world.
Fusion worked with Pepper Money to determine a release plan and split the development into 4 releases. Fusion also provided Pepper Money with developer education to enable future independent enhancement.
We also established a modern Continuous Integration framework for their (and our) teams to jointly work on the same code base and deploy in a secure manner into the DXC.
It has been remarkable that we have essentially built three years of capability in three months. This has been one of the smoothest projects I've been involved in and that's because of the talent and experience Fusion brought to the project.

The Results
The new Episerver migration was delivered on time and smoothly into all three markets. The new solution has provided Pepper Money the ability to focus on developing content for their customers, rather than worry about developing the website.
The Australian Episerver website was also awarded the winner of best online presence at the 2017 Australian Mortgage Awards.
We’re now working with Pepper Money on a Value Sprint basis to drive online conversion and maximise the potential that the CMS can offer their business.
